Here are some photos that I took specifically for this challenge during our visit to Sisters Beach yesterday. The weather was very changeable with heavy showers followed by short fine breaks. I thought that the colour of the sea and the sky suited the theme very well. Aren’t these clouds dramatic?
The Gleditsia tree is a bright yellow-green which contrasts with the mid-green of the grass and the darker green of trees in the background.

For some reason, green is a very popular colour for locomotives.

Quite a few of my more recent photos have featured various shades of blue and yellow. Naomi and I have had a couple of toy photography sessions and I had lovely blue skies when I went out to see the yachts in Hobart. Blue and yellow go so well together, especially on the water.

Before everything to do with fashion dolls turned pink blues and yellows were popular colours.

Putting this post together was quite a saga due to an annoying problem my desktop computer has developed. When I am editing photos it hangs if I do more than one photo and the only way to get out of it is by shutting the computer down via the power button. Luckily most of my photos live on a separate drive which I can plug into my laptop but it is an inconvenience. All these photos are of things I found around the house.
For this week’s challenge I started by photographing some red things at the Op Shop using my phone.

As red is my favourite colour you would think there would be a lot of red things in my house but although there are shades of red, mostly darker ones I used my reds sparingly. In the garden though it is another story.
Another rainy Sunday in Geeveston meant I had to get creative to find some lime or light green pictures this week. As I had been photographing dolls in the kitchen I decided to go with items in the kitchen for this challenge. Yes some of them are a bit grubby. I’d rather take photos and play dolls than clean on a Sunday.
The reason for this non kitchen inclusion is that I was washing dolls clothes in the kitchen sink.
I didn’t buy these tea bags to drink. I read somewhere that mice don’t like peppermint.
I’m no expert on colours but I guess all of these fall into the category of blue greens. At any rate they are all vibrant colours and pleasant to look at. Here are a few of my favourites from the past.
I do associate this range of colours with water quite a lot.
Fabrics look good in these colours too.

Here are some I took today with my phone camera.

I’m not sure what this is but it is very colourful.
