I haven’t had a chance before today to search for some photos for this week’s challenge. Let’s see what I can find.

Pick a Number — CFFC

Pick a number, at random or by some contrived method. Use that number to search your photo archive for images that include that number.

I decided to go with the number eight for no particular reason. I found a few photos with that number. I then started to look for more. The photos are pretty diverse representing various interests of mine over the past few decades.

• 8 & 18 – Taken at a cricket match at Bellerive Oval. These were the Tasmanian players
• 8- Number on the jersey of a member of the Scotland cricket team.
• 8- cricket again. Tasmanian cricketer Tim Paine wore this number during his playing career.
• 1833 – This is in Salamanca Hobart and is one of the stops on a sculpture trail.
• 834- A helicopter at the Aviation Museum in Port Adelaide
• 84506 D – A car at a Hot Rod show in Ulverstone
• 866 – A diesel locomotive at the Don River Railway. Formerly from Australian National, now privately owned.
