Dr Tanya is back with another blogging quote.
“I believe the term “blog” means more than an online journal. I believe a blog is a conversation. People go to blogs to read AND write, not just consume.” – Michael Arrington, TechCrunch
I agree with this statement. I certainly go to blogs to read, write and comment. I think most of us do. We like to know that our work is being read. If we didn’t want our thoughts to be heard why would we blog online at all?
Like most bloggers I know I love the interaction in the comment threads. A post that sparks real conversations is a good post in my opinion.
When you think about it, if you consider your blog an online journal where what you wrote was not for others to see you have really come to the wrong platform. If something is online somebody else will find a way to read it and share it. If you want privacy don’t put your stuff online.
