Marching into Autumn
It’s autumn here although we are still getting a lot of fine summery days here in northwest Tasmania. I have heard that the Rhododendron Gardens near Burnie are showing some fine colours but we haven’t been out to see it yet. We have car events we want to go to for the next couple of weeks but we’ll try to get to the Rhododendron Gardens after Easter. Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend I think so from now on our days will be much shorter. We do prefer to get back to Sisters Beach before dark as there are a lot of animals out and about after dusk and it is too easy to hit one. Naomi already hit a potoroo one night which was not good for either her car or the potoroo.
Here are the Rhododendron Gardens last autumn.
I took this a bit closer to home, at our local shop.
One of my favourite Huon Valley photos.
I love to see the acorns in autumn.
