Green Rosella’s are frequent visitors to our garden and yesterday in the early evening I spotted one on a tree outside. I haven’t lived in a house with an upstairs since I was a child and it is still a novelty to look out the window and be level with the tops of the trees. The birds especially like a big flowering tree which is right opposite the balcony so it’s easy to see them through the window.
As usual I didn’t have my long lens but as I’d seen the birds there on other occasions,
I knew they usually stayed a while. I thought I’d have time to change lenses. I did and snapped these photos. There were two birds but one of them was in another tree a bit further away. I do have quite a few photos of Rosellas as they used to visit the garden in Geeveston too but I never get tired of photographing them.
