Road and Rail
Here is my entry for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge and Alive & Trekking’s Which Way Challenge. The first photo is an old one and to be honest I’m not sure if I took it or David did. He did tend to take a lot of this type of shot when he worked in the Adelaide Rail Yard but I worked there too for a while later on. I have edited the sky.
The old railway station at Burnie is now a restaurant but you can still get onto the platform. Below road and rail side by side in Burnie.
Here’s one that I took on the way to Don. The Bass Highway connects all the towns in northwest Tasmania and we are on it all the time. Most of it is not as good as this bit of dual carriageway between Burnie and Devonport though the views are spectacular as it runs close to the water at times.
I so adore all the tracks. Thanks for playing Vanda. 😀
