Birds of a Feather (Fly Away As Soon As They See My Camera)
I see so many birds every day, Blue Wrens and Goldfinches in the garden, kookaburras in our gum trees, various types of honeyeaters, crows and other birds. On Sunday we saw a flight of what we think were swallows flying along the coast as we drove to Burnie. We sometimes see eagles when we are out for a drive. We see Green Rosellas, sometimes in the garden or around the neighbourhood, Black Cockatoos and sometimes Galahs and Sulphur Crested Cockatoos. But do you think I can photograph any of these birds? No! Get a camera out and they fly away or never appear in the first place. On Sunday this was the only cooperative bird in sight.
These photos are from my archives.
I think there are some birds and animals who see us with a camera and say “Oh no, I got to go know”. Great photos Vanda 😀
