This week I thought I’d show you the topiary art around Oatlands, where Naomi used to live. There are different pieces depicting rural life all around the town. Most of these were taken some years ago. I haven’t had a chance on my last few visits to take new ones. I think the earliest photos are from around 2007-8, not 2003. I had just bought my first digital camera and I had not learned how to change the date or prevent it from appearing on the print. I’m still finding ones that I haven’t altered.
When I used to visit Oatlands regularly, before David was sick, I tried to photograph this group of topiary animals at Lake Dulverton on a regular basis to chart their growth. These were taken over several years. You can see the years of drought and the years of good rains in these too.
