1. What’s your favorite way to exercise? (if you do or don’t. Exercising one’s mind is a valid answer IMHO, because that’s my favorite).
Exercise is a dirty word to me. I’m not interested in exercising for the sake of it and I don’t want to do anything that hurts or leaves me breathless. When I lived in Geeveston some local ladies invited me to walk circuits of the local football ground with them. I considered it but never did in the end because I found walking round and round very boring. What I do like is to go for a walk on the beach, in a park or just around the neighbourhood where there are things to look at, houses, gardens, birds and animals. It’s good if I have someone to talk to as well but not necessary. I don’t power walk either. I just amble along at my own pace.
2. What’s more important to you – family or friends?
In truth I guess the people who are most important to me are important because I like them. I’m related to some of them by blood or marriage but some of them are friends that go back many years.
3. (a segue of sorts from last week’s SYW)..Have you ever voted for someone (in whatever venue – politics, contests, school elections) based solely on how they looked?
4. (silly one) How could carousels be spiced up so they are more exciting?
I think carousels are fine as they are. Why do they need to be spiced up? We have other types of rides for getting thrills on. I like the traditional carousels especially if they are old with nice graphics.
GRATITUDE SECTION (as always optional)
Please feel free to share something you’ve enjoyed about this September.
This month has been mostly wet and miserable weather and there hasn’t been much jolly stuff in it.
Two things I did like, daffodils and the virtual doll convention I attended a week or so ago.
