Fandango’s Provocative Question

Fandango has provided a whole set of questions this week but I thought I would play along anyway.

“The Colbert Questionert.”

  1. Best sandwich?

I’m boring. I like ham and cheese either toasted or fresh with salad and maybe a little chutney to spice it up a bit.

  1. What’s one thing you own that you really should throw out?

My bathing suit. It doesn’t fit well and I’ll probably never wear it again.

  1. What is the scariest animal?

I can think of a few that I would not like to meet but I think the scariest animal is the one that is trying to attack you. I met a really mean feral cat once.

  1. Apples or oranges? apples
apples

5. Have you ever asked someone for their autograph?

No, I was always too shy to do that. I did write a fan letter to an F1 driver once and was surprised to receive a reply. Everyone does selfies now more than autographs but I could never do that. I liked to photograph the players when I went to cricket matches but I preferred action photos or candid shots not posed ones.

Autographs
  1. What do you think happens when we die?

I don’t know. I can’t visualise what it would be like.

  1. Favorite action movie?

I don’t really like action movies that much. I don’t enjoy the violence or the language.

  1. Favorite smell?

I love the smell of baking.

Red Velvet cupcakes (from a packet).
  1. Least favorite smell?

Urine

  1. Exercise: worth it?

Nope, not for me.

  1. Flat or sparkling?

Sparkling

  1. Most used app on your phone?

Apps! Nope. Don’t like them, don’t use them. My phone is an older one and most apps are not compatible with it anyway. I’m not spending hundreds of dollars to replace it when I barely use it anyway.

I hate phones.
  1. You get one song to listen to for the rest of your life: what is it?

When I was younger I’d probably have picked “Telephone Booth” by Ian Moss because I could listen to that over and over but now I don’t know what I would choose.

  1. What number am I thinking of?

I’m just going to say five because that’s my favourite number. I’ve no idea what you picked.

  1. Describe the rest of your life in 5 words?

Looking forward to retirement years.

I was born in England in 1957 and lived there until our family came to Australia in 1966. I grew up in Adelaide, South Australia, where I met and married my husband David. We came together over a mutual love of trains. Both of us worked for the railways for many years, his job was with Australian National Railways, while I spent 12 years working for the STA, later TransAdelaide the Adelaide city transit system. After leaving that job I worked in hospitality until 2008. We moved to Tasmania in 2002 to live in the beautiful Huon Valley. In 2015 David became ill and passed away in October of that year. I currently co-write two blogs on WordPress.com with my sister Naomi. Our doll blog "Dolls, Dolls, Dolls", and "Our Other Blog" which is about everything else but with a focus on photographs and places in Tasmania. In November 2019 I began a new life in the house that Naomi and I intend to make our retirement home at Sisters Beach in Tasmania's northwest. My current housemates are Cindy, my 14-year-old Staffy-Lab X dog and Polly the world's most unsociable cat who is seven.
