QUESTIONS:
Which would you rather throw away: Love or Money?
Do I have to throw either? I cannot afford to throw away money. As for love, I can do without romantic love. I don’t want to be hated but I don’t need everyone to love me, just my family, close friends and pets.
Do you believe you should do one thing a day that scares you?
No. Why should I put myself through that?
What’s the last thing you do at night?
Often the last thing I do at night is read for a few minutes but if I’m really sleepy I just put the bedside lamp out.
If you could own a mythical creature (unicorn, phoenix, etc.), which one would you pick? (A nod to the soon ending 2021 A-Z Blogging Challenge, my topic this year “Mythical Creatures”)
I assume that unicorns, griffins, phoenix etc still have to be fed and have somewhere to live. I think I have enough pets to look after without exotic ones. I would like a fairy in my garden or maybe a leprechaun as long as he was willing to share his gold.

Gratitude
Naomi had to head home to Oatlands yesterday and five minutes after she left I fell over in the back yard while letting a potoroo out of the garden. I’m really grateful that I was not too badly hurt, grazed knees and one is probably bruised as it still hurts. However what I am most grateful for is that my camera appears to be undamaged. I wanted to take a photo of the little guy which didn’t happen because he hopped off at full speed. My camera went flying out of my hand and landed on hard ground near me. I fell on concrete pavers. My first thought, even before “Can I get up?” was “Oh no, my camera is probably broken.” I tried it out as soon as I hobbled inside and it seems fine. I would struggle to buy another but I have to have a camera.
Ouch. I hope you are okay, Vanda.

Sometimes a bit of padding helps.

My knees are not as well padded as the rest of me 🙂

Thanks, Vanda, for Sharing Your World! I’m very glad you weren’t seriously hurt! I’ve taken a couple of falls myself, and it’s disconcerting to say the very least, but it can be dangerous too, particularly if one breaks a bone! I’m glad your camera is okay too! That would have been a shame! I understand fully the anxiety associated with expenses that we can’t afford, I live like that too! I’d never heard of a potoroo, so I Googled it, and oh my goodness! What a CUTIE!! Those little animals are so very dear! I can see why you’d like to have shared yours with us! Very sound thinking on the questions! Have a safe and wonderful week!

We get potoroos in the garden from time to time and wallabies too but usually only after dark. Seeing one in full daylight is not so common.

I never worry about me. I will heal, but my camera won’t! i know EXACTLY how you felt! I once dropped a camera in a New Orleans parking garage and when it hit the cement floor, it EXPLODED. I didn’t know a camera HAD that many parts. Suffice to say, we spent a week in New Orleans sans camera and we’ve never been back. i suppose I should rethink all of this since these days, I might NOT heal.
