Questions
Are you a clean or messy person?
I’m a little of each. I can be lazy but I try to keep things around the house clean. However, messy is a little different. I don’t enjoy living in a pigsty but I have no problem with a little clutter. I don’t want a house that looks like it should be in a magazine where you feel afraid to touch anything. Anyway we have pets so there is always going to be some mess.

If I asked you to describe yourself in five words – what would they be?
Stubborn, procrastinator, lazy, optimist, content
Do you enjoy being out in nature?
Yes. I’m not the hunting, fishing, camping type of person and I do spend a lot of time indoors but I appreciate nature. Seeing the changing seasons, listening to the birds, looking at flowers and trees are all things that make me happy.

What could you spend all day talking about?
I wouldn’t literally spend all day talking about just one thing but I do enjoy reminiscing about old times and Naomi and I do do that for hours sometimes.
Gratitude:
Naomi quit work. I’ve been wishing she didn’t have to do a job that was hurting her body so much for a long time and now she’s decided to retire from it. Of course that also means she will move here with me a bit sooner than we originally thought.

Thanks Vanda for Sharing Your World and I’m very glad to see you back! I’ve missed your responses, but I realize that life takes precedence and sometimes the questions aren’t quite one’s cup of tea. 🙂 It’s all good! I like the idea of clutter versus messy. That’s the true heart of the question as I meant it. I doubt anyone lives in complete squalor or admits it if they do. No judgment of course, we all have different standards. Your list of ‘attributes’ was very honest, and I was pleased that you know you have some great qualities! 🙂 I think observing nature from the porch or one’s own backyard is a valid way to enjoy it; it doesn’t have to be going into the deep forest or woods or climbing a mountain to do that. Congratulations on having your sister move in. It sounds like her retirement is long overdue! Have a splendid week!

I’m glad the two of you will be able to be together. This is a hard time to be the one and only. One of the things that keeps us all going is that there are three of us and we help each other out. Being together matters a lot.

She’s not going to be able to move in right away but visits will be more frequent and longer probably and we hope the final move will happen by early December so we can have a proper Christmas this year.
