Questions:
Do you snore? How do you know it, if you do?
I do and I know I do because I have been told.
What do you find funny? (credit for question given to Rory and this post in particular:
https://aguycalledbloke.blog/2020/02/05/ha-ha-ha-ahh-what-do-you-find-funny/ )
Lots of things. Silly things that pets do. Silly conversations that Naomi and I have sometimes. We both often see the funny side of things that were not really meant to be funny. It’s hard to explain. Sometimes it’s the picture you get in your head.
There are TV shows and movies that make me laugh. I tend to laugh more at the older British TV shows like Hancock’s Half Hour, Fawlty Towers, Dad’s Army, The Goodies or Yes Minister to mention a few. There are some books that always make me laugh. Gerald Durrell’s “My Family and Other Animals” and “The Picnic” always make me laugh out loud as do books by Betty MacDonald and Emily Kimbrough. Oh, and The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
What was the last furry thing you touched?
That would be Cindy because she just came over to me wanting attention or perhaps for me to go to bed. Why do dogs always want you to go to bed when they want to go?
How do you handcuff a one-armed man?
Well I suppose that if you didn’t need him to walk anywhere you could handcuff an arm to a leg. Or you could handcuff him to a railing or something. I really have no idea.
An Attitude of Gratitude
This week I challenge you to list five things you’re grateful for. Credit to this goes to Sadje ( https://lifeafter50forwomen.com/ ) because she’s started a challenge to do that daily. #5 Things. Daunting? Well it is to me! I’d have trouble finding five one time, let alone each day.
- I’m grateful for my health as I’ve never had any major issues up to now.
- I’m grateful that I own a home and can’t be kicked out
- I’m grateful for my friends and family. I know there are people who are always there for me.
- I’m grateful for all the wonderful pets I’ve been the guardian of. Four dogs and eleven cats if I haven’t miscounted.
- I’m grateful that I can be happy alone
- I’m grateful that I had a happy childhood
I feel that I have had a fortunate life.
Such wonderful answers! Thank you so much Vanda for Sharing Your World! Now is that a shot of the elusive ‘one armed man’ that Doctor whosyerfather was always chasing?

That question just made me think of The Fugitive the 1960s version starring David Janssen so I googled for a free to use picture of “the one armed man”.
