Questions
What age would you like to live to?
I would like to outlive my pets but other than that I have no particular age in mind. I’d like to live until I am ready to go.
What mystery do you wish you knew the answer to?
Life, the Universe and Everything. Or maybe what animals think about?

Does absolute power corrupt absolutely?
In some people’s case it certainly does.
What outdoor activity haven’t you tried, but would like to?
I always thought that I’d like to go up in a hot air balloon but to be honest I’d probably be frightened because of my fear of falling.

Gratitude
We had some heavy rain last week. That felt good. It’s not been as hot and dry here as other parts of the country but it still felt good.
Thanks Vanda for Sharing Your World! 🙂 That rain must have been greatly welcomed…forgive me, but I don’t know precisely where you live. I have the idea it’s in Australia or NZ somewhere (Tasmania?) My American based education is showing one of it’s holes…the geography one. They didn’t teach us proper geography in my day.

Many Americans seem to be geographically challenged but that’s not a new thing. I had an American penfriend some 40 years ago and she worked for a while as a teachers aide I think it was. Some of her students didn’t even realise that Australians spoke English! Tasmania is an Australian state. It is an island separated from the mainland by Bass Strait. If you look at a map of Australia, find Melbourne, Victoria and then keep going south and there we are.

I almost got a hot air balloon ride, but literally, when I got to the front of the line, they closed it down. Apparently, it wasn’t hot enough and it was too late to reheat it. So I almost did it. I’m not afraid of height, just of crashing.

That’s what worries me too.
