What was the single best thing that happened in your life this past year?
The most challenging?
The single best thing that happened in my life this year would have to be that Geeveston escaped the bushfires last summer with minimal damage and no loss of life. On a personal note that my own home did not suffer any damage. The most challenging, definitely moving house.
One thing you learned in 2019?
Never take anything for granted.
Given all your experiences, insights, and lessons learned in 2019, what’s the best advice you could give yourself for 2020?
Be organised and plan for every contingency.
What’s the best meal/food you ate in 2019?
I think our Christmas meal was one of the nicest we’ve ever had. The roast cooked in an unfamiliar oven was just right, the Christmas Pudding slid out of the bowl without breaking and the mince pies as always were perfect if I do say so myself. I have eaten some nice meals in restaurants and pubs this year but this homey food is what I like best.
What are the three activities you plan to use in the coming year to relieve stress?
- Walking on the beach.
What brought you the most joy and are you going to do more of that?
My doll collecting has brought me a lot of joy over the years and I plan to do more of that, maybe not as much buying new ones but creating a new display, photographing them and finding accessories to complete outfits for the vintage fashion dolls.
Lastly – Any resolutions you’d care to share?
