I would not rate myself as a talkative person usually but I probably do talk more now than when I was younger and very shy. I probably write a great deal more than I talk though. Marilyn of “Serendipity-Seeking Intelligent Life on Earth” tagged me as a frequent commenter and I have to confess to being a serial commenter on her and some of my other favourite blogs as commenting is the nearest we get to chatting in WordPress. It feels like having someone visiting for a chat and a cuppa.
Now looking at my own stats, recently the most frequent commenters on this blog after me have been Cee Neuner, human59, Marilyn, Dennis, Reflections of an Untidy Mind and Nancy Merrill.

Obviously, I am not tagging myself as I’m responding to comments,
Cee faithfully comments on every challenge post that I and everyone else puts up so I doubt she has the time for this one but Cee if you want to please do.
human59 is my co-writer so tagging her for this would be a bit like chasing our tails.
Marilyn has just done it of course

Dennis from “Diary of Dennis” and I have been trading comments for several years now, from about the time that we discovered that we had very similar looking cats. He takes great photos around his hometown of Lubeck, Germany and of course of Shyna the cat. We always find plenty to talk about comparing life in Germany and Australia and I enjoy his guitar playing. Dennis also writes a lot about gaming and tech stuff.
Tracy from “Reflections of an Untidy Mind” a fellow Aussie from “the big island” is one of the group of bloggers that provides us with the Random Daily Prompt and also takes some fantastic photos of wildlife.
Nancy Merrill from “Nancy Merrill Photography” has the Photo A Week Challenge which I often join in. She always has interesting photos on her blog. Nancy always comments on everyone’s posts too which is much appreciated.
So Dennis, Tracy, and Nancy if you would like to participate and tag some of your frequent commenters that would be great but if you prefer not to that’s fine too. No pressure.
Thank you, Vanda. I think I’m too shy to do that despite appearing to be a chatterbox. I just feel the need to acknowledge the thoughtfulness, talent and dedication of all the bloggers with whom I interact. What a fabulous bunch they all are.

Yes, they are and like I said, it’s fine. I don’t usually do anything that resembles a chain but this was different because I knew where it came from and it’s really just giving a shout out to people who take the time to read and comment on my posts.

Yay! In gamer-speech, good that I made it somewhere to the top 🙂 I find it extremely interesting how interconnected WordPress really is. I know, follow and comment on some blogs you mentioned. I will check out the others. By the way, when I clicked on their links, it points me to your internal dashboard I think, which is why it shows errors since it’s only for you. The links in the table are not working. I will search them manually.
You and Marilyn are one of my top commenters as well. Generally, I do especially like how the WordPress community interacts with each other. Not only do we have a very respectful community (even in cases where we disagree), it’s also that the discussions are hold until nothing is to add anymore. Which means, it’s usually a discussion with 1-5 and sometimes more replies. Comparing this to the outside (I call them Google commenters), it’s usually just one dropped comment but no further discussion. Maybe they don’t see the “Notify me of new comment via email” checkbox, or they just want to share their thoughts and never come back. I’m fine with this, but WordPress discussions have a lot more depth. And I do agree, it feels a bit like Kaffe und Kuchen as we would say here. Very friendly atmosphere.

That’s how it seems to me a friendly community and as a lot of us seem to be sitting up late our times online do often cross over so comments are replied to quickly.

Sorry I really don’t have the time as you guessed. Glad to be on top of your list though. 😀
