The Alphabet According to Cee – J is in:
I thought this one was going to be tricky but it turned out that when I searched my archives I had quite a few pictures that would meet the criteria.
- Journal
- Jewellery
- Japanese Maple
- Beijing
- Jindivik
The journal is the travel diary Naomi gave me before our cruise, although I did most of my journalling in the accompanying note book. The jewellery is old shop stock from when Naomi used to run a Scottish, Irish and Welsh shop. I was going to take a new photo of my Japanese Maple but I cheated and used one I already had. The next photo is a scan of one that I took in Tiannammen Square in Beijing in 1990. I’ve always liked this particular photo although I imagine there are many more cars and fewer bicycles these days.
The last one is interesting. I took it during a visit to the Aviation Museum in Adelaide. Jindivik is the name of a pilotless aircraft, the little one nestled under the wing of a larger plane. It was developed in the late 1940’s and first flew in 1952. I had no idea radio controlled unmanned planes were around so early.

A very interesting selection.
