Sharing My World This Week
If you wanted to de-clutter where you live, what room / space would you start with? (And why, if you’re feel like admitting to it.)
I am actually in the process of decluttering my house, giving some things away and packing up others ready for rooms to be painted in the near future. I actually started with the spare bedroom but I need to declutter my doll/craft room very badly. I have collected or been given many craft materials over the years and I am starting to suspect that I may never do some of the projects I have materials for and that perhaps some of them should be moved on.

If you want to remember something important, how do you do it (sticky note on the fridge, string around your finger, etc.), and does it work?
If it is an appointment I generally write it on the calendar but I usually remember the important things. Occasionally my memory fails me so these days I do try to write things down-and remember to check the calendar regularly.
If you could create a one room retreat just for yourself, what would be the most important sense to emphasize: sight (bright natural light, dim light, etc.), hearing (silence, music, fountain, etc.), smell (candles, incense, etc), touch (wood, stone, soft fabrics, etc.), or taste (herbal tea, fresh fruit, etc.)?
The answer to this would probably be sight. I would want good natural light during the day, a window with a pleasant view and the room would be decorated in colours and patterns that harmonised with each other.
If you could interview one of your great-great-great grandparents, who would it be (if you know their name) and what would you ask?
I was always rather fascinated by the fact that my paternal grandmother’s family came from Canada. If I could interview a great, great, great grandparent I would choose one of her great grandparents to learn what their lives were like and where the family originally came from.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week I was quite excited to see a pair of Masked Lapwing’s , commonly known as plovers, with four chicks near my house and I’ve been watching out for them ever since. I was also very excited to see the first episode of “Rosehaven” the TV comedy partly filmed in Geeveston.

This weekend the Geeveston Op Shop where I volunteer will be opening on Saturday to take part in the Australia wide “Garage Sale Trail” so I will be helping out and hoping that we sell lots of things. Then on Thursday of next week I will be flying to Adelaide to spend a few days with family which I am looking forward to.
Grand collection of dolls! The birds are cute!

Thanks for sharing this week. I can imagine you have a lot of crafty things in your house. 😀

I do but I seem to spend more time tidying the room than using them.
