Sharing My World This Week
What is your favourite comfort snack food?
My favourite comfort snack foods are the things I’ve always liked but of course I don’t have them every day. Chocolate is one. I generally save it for when I have company but once in a while I’ll treat myself to a chocolate bar when I’m out; usually a Mars Bar or Picnic. I love chocolate biscuits but again I usually only have them in the house if I expect to have company. At other times I like Anzac biscuits which I make myself or a piece of fruit cake. My go to healthy snack is always an apple.

Is the paper money in your possession right now organized sequentially according to denomination and with the bills right side up and facing the same way?
The paper money in my possession right now is folded up in a pocket of my handbag and as far as I can remember not in any kind of order. As it is only about three notes I didn’t see the need. When I fold them it will usually be with the largest sized note on the outside.

If you were a mouse in your house in the evening, what would you see your family doing?
If I were a little mouse creeping around in the evening I would see the human sitting in an armchair using a laptop or trying not to fall asleep watching TV. I would see the dog asleep on the couch unless she was playing with the cat or asking to be let out. I would be happy to see the cat asleep on another chair but even happier if she was not in the room at all because if she spotted me she would most certainly chase me. I am sure she knows where I live.

Would you rather not be able to read or not be able to speak?
Not being able to read would be horrible. I would miss not being able to read books, newspapers or magazines. I would not be able to read the posts of fellow bloggers or edit my own for that matter. I wouldn’t be able to read essential information like instruction manuals.
On the other hand while not being able to speak would be awkward I could still listen. I think I would miss speaking less.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week I stayed home apart from my three days at the Op Shop. I enjoyed those but I also enjoyed having time to myself at home.
This weekend Naomi and I will go to the Doll Show in North Hobart and probably to check out some more old stuff at the Tip Shop afterwards.
Thanks so much for sharing this week. 😀

Mars bars are so good! We don’t have them here but my husband’s grandpa from England always brings some when he comes to visit.
Your money is so colorful!
A mouse in my house would see about the same thing, only our dog is too big for the couch. We’ve invited him up a few times but he never stays. He’s just too long in every direction. Cindy looks pretty comfy there!

I like that our money is different colours and sizes as you can’t accidentally give someone the wrong note once you know them. I thought everyone had Mars Bars 🙂

It would be nice having money all different colors. Our bills are all so similar in color that it’s easy to get them mixed up, which is one reason I keep mine in sequential order.
I suspect that the U.S. doesn’t allow much imported candy on the shelves. They want to keep us hooked on the American stuff that’s full of high fructose corn syrup!
