Sharing My World This Week
How many languages do you speak?
Only English. I learned some French and German in high school for a couple of years but most of it is long forgotten.
What are some words that just make you smile?
The first one that popped into my head was alpaca. I like the sound of the word and just the sight of an alpaca usually makes me smile.

If you were the original architect of one existing building, which building would you select?
That’s a tough one, there are a great many buildings I admire but I’m going to pick the Taj Mahal because I think it is just about perfect.
Would you rather have telepathy or telekinesis? (Telepathy is the communication using your brain waves, telekinesis is channeling the energy onto physical objects to cause substantial, observable physical changes.)
Telepathy would be cool if you could turn it off when you didn’t want to use it. I think it would get a bit noisy inside your head if you could hear everyone all the time. It would be a great way to communicate with friends and family who were far away and so convenient somewhere noisy as I could communicate without having to shout.
I am not really sure what I’d use telekinesis for unless I could use it to make all my household appliances work and do the housework without me! Who needs bent spoons?
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week work began on my front garden. It turned out that some of the timber on my front veranda was rotten so that has all been replaced and the framework for the new steps has been laid down. The garden itself is a sodden, muddy mess at the moment and is likely to remain that way for a few weeks but that’s OK.
I also received some new dolls, my belated birthday present from Naomi, a Titian Swirl Ponytail Barbie and a little porcelain doll and I bought a Tammy, Misty and Pepper so I’ve been busy taking pictures for the doll blog.
This week looks like it’s going to be wet pretty much every day so I’m mainly looking forward to staying indoors and enjoying my new heater. I hope to get to Hobart on Friday to meet up with Allyson and Matt and possibly go to a retro market on Saturday.
You know I adore alpacas. I might have to add them to words that make me smile. 😀 It is always a pleasure reading your entry.
