Sharing My World This Week
What one thing are you really glad you did yesterday?
I didn’t answer this question earlier in the week because I am sorry to say that I did nothing of note. Yesterday I went to Hobart and picked up our cruise tickets and I am very glad that I did that!

Are you generally focused on today or tomorrow?
At the moment I am trying to stay focussed on today. I am looking forward to our holiday of course but after that will come a year of change and although I know it will all work out in the end I still feel very emotional about it and the best way to deal with life is to take it one day at a time.
Would you want a guardian angel/mentor? What would they tell you right now?
Well I often think I must have a guardian angel because things seem to have a way of working out for the best but I don’t think of it as an entity that would tell me things.
Would you rather live in a cave house or a dome house made out of glass? (photos of the houses found on google search)
I like domes and I like natural light in my home so I’d probably prefer that if I had to choose. On the other hand I also like my privacy and I don’t like cleaning windows which I fear I’d spend rather a lot of time doing. I don’t think that I would really like to live in a cave home although it would be easy to maintain an even temperature. I like having a view too much so on the whole I think I’d pass on both and keep living in a regular house.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week I felt a bit out of sorts. It has been warm for a while and even my garden which is usually very green was starting to look dry. I was hand watering my new trees and potted plants where normally nature takes care of them. Last Sunday 24 January was the 50th anniversary of my family arriving in Australia to live. Tuesday 26th was Australia Day but I did not celebrate either. I did have a nice evening having dinner with friends and watching the Big Bash cricket final on television. That was a lot more fun than watching it alone would have been and luckily the right team won.
This week is almost over now and the main thing I’m looking forward to is the garden getting a good soak as it is now raining heavily. We’ve even had some thunder and lightning. Next week will mostly be a week of dealing with government departments, the phone company and the lawyer and possibly starting to do some volunteer work at the local op shop.
Oh I would have waited to answer the first question too. Have a great vacation, whenever it is 😀 Get lots of photos. 😀

I’m sorry that you’ve been feeling out of sorts. I hope the excitement for the cruise will soon take over. Just seeing that picture of the cruise ship made me feel a little bit of excitement for you!

For two weeks we both intend to forget about bills, jobs or the lack of them, houses that need fixing and everything else that gives us stress.

Nice to meet you Mary. I started my first blog about dolls a couple of years ago but soon realised that I wanted to write about other stuff so this became my other blog. If I started a third one I guess I could call it. “Not Another Blog” 🙂
