Mellow Yellow and Vivid Orange
I had to hunt around for some pictures of orange flowers as I was surprised to find I didn’t have many. Luckily I found several taken at the Botanical Gardens in spring and some lovely roses I photographed when I blunderd into a flower show at the Hobart Town Hall while looking for something else. Of course I had to add daffodils from my garden and some winter colour in the form of golden wattle.

Such a bright and happy post for this week’s orange and yellow flowers. Well done. 😀

Lovely yellow flowers! And such a welcome sight since it’s the middle of winter here and the crocuses haven’t even started to peek out of the ground yet. The winter wattle is so beautiful. I’ve never seen anything like it!

In the winter when there are few flowers around the wattle, it’s a form of acacia, is a welcome sight and we have a lot of varieties of it here.

Where are these taken?

Most were taken at the Botanical Gardens in Hobart last spring except the daffodills, they were from my garden also last spring.
