Regarding your fridge, is it organized or a mess inside?
I like my fridge organised, certain items on certain shelves. It does get out of hand sometimes when too many uneaten leftovers start to pile up and vegetables stay in the crisper too long. I have been having my groceries delivered for the past few weeks so the day it arrives I clean out the fridge, throw away out of date stuff and wipe the shelves down.
Have you ever been a participant in a parade? What did you do?
I’ve never been a participant in a parade. I always wanted to be part of John Martin’s Christmas Pageant in Adelaide or the “Birthday Celebrations” parade in Elizabeth, the suburb I lived in as a child. I don’t know what I would have done as I was never a “joiner”. One of the Pageant floats was a decorated double-decker bus and I would have enjoyed riding on that. I have been in a protest march which is an altogether different kind of parade. I did that twice last year and probably will again before the next election.
How do you stand out from the crowd?
I don’t. I don’t want to. I like my anonymity.
How many bones, if any, have you broken?
Touch wood I have never broken a bone.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week, Hubby continued to improve and is now into the rehab stage of his recovery from a serious illness. This week I’m looking forward to life becoming a bit more normal. Today my sister and I are meeting in Hobart and we plan to go to the Botanical Gardens if the weather stays fine so I’m looking forward to taking some photos. Later on in the week I’ll catch up with a friend I’ve not seen for a few weeks and she has some scrapbooking supplies for me so I’ll be able to do some scrapbooking over the weekend. On Saturday, if it doesn’t rain, I’m going to go and see the ruins of a local wood chipping mill which the local history group have been doing some work on.
