I think I must have always been a “Which Way” photographer. So many of my photos seem to be on this topic.
Two years ago my sister and I were in Sydney on holidays and I took the following photos at St James Station which is on the City Circle Line. It is one of the two oldest underground stations in Australia.
St James is well known for its unused tunnels, and for having been set up as a bomb shelter during World War 2. Apparently every now and then it is possible to explore the tunnels on a guided tour. I would love to do that!
In 2011 St James was the setting for a horror movie. “The Tunnel”.
